We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager on our MQ-1C Logistics Team located in Poway, CA. This position typically reports to a program manager and is responsible for the planning, financial management and technical performance for the US Army Gray Eagle Performance Based Logistics program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Creates project plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule and cost goals are attained to meet established milestones and budgets.
  • Supports internal review process and post-submittal activities with customers including subcontractor technical evaluations and audit requirements.
  • Interact with internal and external representatives at various levels concerning resolution of technical and scheduling issues. Act as primary contact for program issues.
  • Act as the primary customer contact for project activities and may lead project review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Collaborate across with functional teams supporting projects.
  • May participate with Group management in pursuing business partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that enhance the capabilities of the Group/Company and may result in new products, programs, and business opportunities.
  • Manage the development of and ensure the security of proprietary technology and maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s or higher in business administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required.
  • Able to work extended hours when required to meet critical program goals and travel as required.
  • Proficient with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and techniques.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
    • Government program management experience.
