We are currently seeking an experienced Order Entry Clerk for our fast-paced optical laboratory in Kent, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team! No experience required!

Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of customer s ophthalmic prescription and stock orders into the computer system.

Minimum Starting Wage: $18.50 (Increases based on experience)

Shift: 6am-2:30pm or 10:30am-7:00pm

Duties:

• Accurate and timely data entry into computer.
• Understand and apply company promotions, policies, and procedures in carrying out the order entry function(s).
• Recheck completed Rx s for correctness prior to issuing to lab for processing.
• Match invoices and file as necessary.
• Maintain lab operating system software update/procedures manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

• Two years of work related experience
• Ophthalmic experience required; Digital Vision Inc. (DVI) optical software system experience preferred
• Accurate Data entry skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet and maintain deadlines
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
