The Treasury Solutions Operations business unit spans the core functions of Implementations, Servicing, Fulfillment and Support Services for all Treasury & Payments Solutions. The Treasury Solutions Onboarding Senior Specialist is part of the Treasury Solutions Client Onboarding function.

A Treasury Solutions Onboarding Senior Specialist is directly responsible and accountable for coordinating and leading client implementation efforts for new and maintenance complex Treasury & Payment solutions products, including related deposit accounts. Their overarching goal is to provide a best-in-class client experience, enabling Truist to achieve our vision and improve revenue realization.

A Treasury Solutions Onboarding Senior Specialist is focused on applying treasury, banking, project management, and communications skills in a timely and accurate manner for complex Treasury products and/or clients. Their day-to-day work efforts involve project management, collaboration, coordination and communication skills targeted toward either:
Leading complex implementations for Treasury clients
Specializing in the implementation of one or more complex Treasury products

Dedicated to complex implementations, clients and/or products, a Treasury Onboarding Senior Specialist is expected to own the overall implementation effort and client experience – ensuring that their implementations are completed in a timely and successful manner even when aspects are delegated to others.

A Treasury Solutions Onboarding Senior Specialist must be able to interact with clients in verbal and written form. They will collaborate with a client representative or, more often, internal personnel to coordinate, complete, and communicate regarding implementation activities. Reports directly to a Treasury Solutions Onboarding Manager .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for implementing complex treasury implementation efforts for complex treasury products with minimal supervision.
  • Leads and directs communications with clients and other personnel regarding all aspects of implementation efforts, conducted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Function as the primary liaison between the client, internal operations, 3rd party vendors, technical, and other areas throughout complex implementation cycle.
  • Utilize expertise, internal and external business resources to resolve implementation issues effectively, maintain project deadlines, and meet client needs.
  • Provide visibility and transparency regarding project status to the client’s deal/coverage team throughout.
  • Document all client interactions and relevant information in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Adheres to Treasury Agreements and documents policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong and open partnerships with LOB, Sales, and other stakeholders to provide mutual feedback on business processes, internal relationships, organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively informs and/or engages leaders and others to communicate issues, risks, and opportunities to business partners and directly or indirectly the client.
  • Understand client needs and challenges; responding dynamically throughout implementations.
  • Use good judgment to balance client needs, internal processes, and a variety of other contingencies/considerations.
  • Employ strong problem-solving capabilities to develop creative and tailored solutions.
  • Partner to manage and/or escalate concerns and reduce basic operational, process, and compliance risk.
  • Execute with precision and accountability by following policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to Treasury Solutions related teams sharing Product knowledge and solutions to better serve our clients.
  • Support key merger and acquisition strategy for Onboarding processes, applications, systems, and delivery.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years in Treasury Operations, bank operations, basic project management, or other related industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively to prioritize, satisfy client needs and provide a best-in-class client experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – including the ability to be proactive and adapt messaging based on the audience.
  • Ability to manage and negotiate with clients and vendor and alliance relationships.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships and leverage networks.
  • Ability to adapt strategically to evolving market demands, technology, and internal initiatives, catalyzing new approaches to improve results.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard/common Treasury products and introductory understanding and/or desire to understand complex Treasury products and complex client relationships.
  • Diligent, flexible, and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, Internet, and MS Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degrees/education in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or other related field.
  • Certification in one of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable programs
  • Treasury Management Professional certification (CTP) or comparable programs
