We are seeking an exceptional Distribution Center Supervisor in our Torrance, CA facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience and 5 years warehouse experience, will also be a quality-driven professional with the talent and passion to help strengthen and grow the DFS Distribution Center. This role will supervise DFS employees and temporary service employees in Putaway Operations. • Direct the work flow in the assigned work centers to achieve prescribed objectives
• Achieve productivity and accuracy goals in product putaway
• Develop work schedules that ensure adequate coverage in assigned work centers
• Train, coach, counsel and discipline staff as necessary
• Perform audits on units, skus, bins and/or loads to prevent errors and increase operational compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all Company, US Customs and other applicable government agencies rules and regulations
• Comply with DFS, Airport, and C-TPAT security policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with the department budget
• Troubleshoot/Mitigate any issue for DFS/Temporary staff
• Provide coverage for the other DC Supervisors as needed
• Assist in all other Distribution Center functions, projects, and other assignments as needed
