Camp Mack is hiring a shift supervisor for its food service operation. This is a full-time, year-round position. During summers, the shift supervisor will be responsible for supervising seasonal kitchen staff and volunteers in all aspects of food service including meal preparation, service, and cleanup. In retreat season (August through May), the shift supervisor will work with the Food Service Director and other shift supervisor to provide service to retreats, banquets, and weddings. During periods when food service is not required, the employee will occasionally assist the facility and/or housekeeping crews.

Hours are variable based on season and group usage, but they average 40-45 hours per week annually. Please contact us with questions.

Experience in restaurant, school cafeteria, or another commercial kitchen is desired.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with people, establish positive relationships with co-workers, and follow all kitchen protocols. At a minimum, the candidate should have basic kitchen skills.

A high-school diploma or G.E.D. is required. The successful candidate will be required to get Serve-Safe certification at the expense of the camp, if not already certified.
