Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a high-level CSA, focusing on client relationships, retention, and ongoing service needs. Help to identify and solve problems within our operations process and maintain clear communication with team members and clients.

Deliver exceptional client service and serve as liaison between clients, Senior Wealth Managers, Wealth Managers, and Associate Wealth Managers.

Communicate directly with clients, always in a professional manner, on outstanding items and ongoing client relationship management.

Support the firm’s advisors and clients by providing excellent custodial service and support. This includes but is not limited to new account paperwork and set up, account transfers, cashiering, general account maintenance, backup of daily deposits and withdrawals, monitoring custodian alerts and cost basis reconciliation.

Your role is to serve as the intermediary between clients, advisors and our custodians and to be responsible for the efficient and timely completion of tasks and action items that arise from these stakeholders.

Maintain organized and up-to-date client files.

Serve as a point of contact for custodians, sub-advisors, 529 vendors, MSC, etc. for all account opening, cashiering and client service needs.

Follow our workflow processes and continue to make suggestions to improve our overall efficiency.

Feel free to discuss with the COO and Dir. of Operations suggestions for improvement on an ongoing basis.

Leverage technology to work more efficiently and accurately.

Answer phones as needed with a friendly and positive greeting.

Provide support on special projects and operational tasks as needed.

Assist the compliance team with recurring compliance tasks including confirmation of delivery of required documents and documenting as needed.

Have a client-first attitude.

Stay very organized and prioritize work accordingly.

Maintain a high attention to detail.

Be a problem solver.

Take complete ownership of areas of responsibility from start to finish.

Be creative and inventive with your responsibilities. Always look for better ways to tackle what you are required to do including looking into new technology, making suggestions to improve current processes, etc.

Qualifications:
3+ Years of experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services
Series 65 preferred
Strong work ethic and drive to learn and contribute in a fast-paced performance-driven environment
Polished communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all clients and office personnel. This includes both written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred
Experience with Orion is a plus
Experience with iCapital is a plus
Must have a customer-centric attitude with a commitment to doing what is right for the client
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines well

Keys to Success in the First 6 Months Include but are not Limited To:

Develop an understanding of our systems and client relationships to be able to assist if advisors are unavailable.

Take ownership of your areas of responsibility.

Master the tools and technology that you will be required to use on a daily basis.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Professional attitude and demeanor and the ability to operate in a fast paced, challenging environment.

Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, the in-office client experience needs to be managed in a seamless fashion and an exceptional manner.

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule:
Compensation range between $70,000 – $90,000 depending on skills and experience.

Paid time off. 15 days per year initially, accrued pro-rate per pay period. This increases as your tenure with the firm increases. See handbook for more information.

Hours will be from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This role will primarily be located in our Newport Beach office, with periodic travel to our home office in Pasadena, CA.

This is a full-time position, non-exempt position.
