Solo Albany and Salem family law firm looking for full-time legal assistant for our office in Albany. Must be a detail oriented self-starter, with an eye toward solutions. Knowledge of Apple computers, Outlook, Adobe Pro, Excel, Pages, Quickbooks a plus. Casual dress.

No applicants without a minimum of two years experience primarily handling the following tasks in family law cases will be considered:

• Drafting, filing and serving pleadings
• Processing and organizing discovery, identifying missing documents, communicating with clients and opposing counsel to resolve omissions
• Answering phones (taking messages, scheduling appointments and obtaining new caller information efficiently)
• Emailing intake forms to new clients
• Formatting exhibits and preparing exhibit binders
• Handling records requests (DMV, schools, doctors' offices, assessment centers, etc.)
• Delivering exhibits and pleadings as needed locally
