What you'll do:
The Sales Support Specialist provides support to the Regional Manager by servicing various banking clients and assisting departments in resolving customer issues. The incumbent will follow up with the appropriate Officer(s) to ensure problems are resolved and the customer is ultimately satisfied with the end result. Additional responsibilities include assisting with account analysis, service charge waivers, e-deposit, and ACH renewals, and are responsible for several reports that are completed for executive management.
What we are looking for:
  • Provides daily guidance to the department in the areas of deposits and account servicing.
  • Works directly with customers on issues and resolves issues pertaining to their accounts.
  • Provides excellent customer service and represents the bank in a professional and responsible manner.
  • Adheres to compliance, security, state and Federal regulations, bank policies, procedures, and goals.
  • Gathers information pertaining to loan package and coordinates submission to the underwriting and document areas.
  • May accompany Officers on customer calls and interviews to obtain an understanding of the business relationship/loan request as a means to aiding the Officer in developing strategies to most effectively meet the needs of the customer.
  • Provides research on loan and deposit accounts as needed.
  • Completes E-Deposit and ACH renewals.
  • May assist in setting up new accounts
What you need to have:
  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in banking, deposits, account servicing, or other directly related experience. 5 years or more experience is preferred. College degree preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of branch operations, deposits, new accounts, banking principles, and policies.
  • Experience in loan processing/servicing preferred.
  • Working knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communications skills.
  • Ability to work with relationship managers, loan officers, regional managers, and clients as needed
Compensation Information:
Salary range for new hires is generally $54,668 – $67,532. Salary amount reflects San Diego, CA, salary is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
