The RN delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care, including critical illness or emergency of episodic nature, using the nursing process. Completes initial multi-system and psycho-social assessments, expected outcomes, interventions and evaluation of care based upon the developmental status from neonate through adult geriatric.

PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) DUTIES

  • Delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of patient care by using the nursing process of assessment, expected outcome identification, intervention, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and/or proficiency in the management and delivery of patient care in assigned area of clinical practice.
  • Participates in patient/family education and discharge planning activities and assures family involvement.
  • Integrates culture, beliefs, value systems of individuals.

WORK CONDITIONS/HOURS

12-hour shifts: schedule is based on the department needs.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements

  • Associates degree in Nursing
  • Current licensed in the state of Idaho, or licensure eligible
  • Current BLS
  • NIH Stroke within 3-months of hire
