Our team in South Gate currently has an opening for a Production Supervisor
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures issued by Coastal Chemical Co & client(s). Works directly with the dispatchers to ensure customer needs are filled.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting quarterly inventory physical counts and reconciling counts with BUS data storage system.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with BUS data storage system.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (Order Point/Order Quantity report, dead stock report, and slow moving reports).
  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
  • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with other related warehouses.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
  • Manage and maintain our Hazardous Waste/Quarantine area. Including, proper labeling and classifying of hazardous waste items and coordinate pick-up with our hazardous waste vendors.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
