$17.50 - $18.00 + $.40 2nd $.50 3rd shift premiums

Our Jasper, Missouri calcium fine grind facility is looking to place a full time entry level production operator on our staff. Production operator could expect to perform housekeeping tasks, quality assurance tasks, and will be cross trained on other vital processing roles over time. The Production Operator will be trained on 1st shift but can expect to move to a 2nd or 3rd shift role over time. Shift premium of $.40/hr. is applied for 2nd and $.50/hr. for 3rd shift schedules. The production operator role is eligible for an annual salary increase as well. Candidates that have a Class A CDL are a plus.

Job duties of the Production Operator:

80%

Housekeeping: material handling in removing spillage of calcium and calcium dust from the facility, machinery and equipment. Task training on mobile type equipment such as a forklift, end loader, skid loader and haul out truck.

20%

Team support: small preventive maintenance tasks such as equipment checks and greasing of moving equipment parts, paperwork with documentation, fill in for other aspect of the plant on areas of crossed trained aspects. Collecting samples and perform the required quality testing for customer requirements and for Safe Feed regulations.

Additional Expectations of the Production Operator:

• Exhibit a positive working attitude with team members, sales people, customers, and truck drivers. Also a working safety awareness and habits at all times under MSHA jurisdiction.
• Work Experience: forklift, skid steer and or an end loader experience a plus.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Self-starter and dependable
• Good work ethics, motivated
• Must possess a safety working attitude, will be become MSHA certified
• Flexible to work off shifts or overtime as needed including weekends
• Perform tasks in a timely manner
• Good basic math and reading skills
• Physically able to lift 50-pounds
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and physical screening
