Madison Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our expanding independent veterinary practice. This full-time LVT role will work between 32-40 hours a week, with a mix of days, nights, weekends and holidays. The LVT will assist with dentistry, anesthesia, surgery, phlebotomy, placing intravenous catheters, obtaining patient history, minor lab work, and radiology. They will also work directly with our clients to educate them on subjects related to their pet's wellbeing and collaborate on building effective treatment plans.

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, enthusiastic pet advocate to join our team!

Essential Skills and Requirements:

· Lifting/Carrying animals up to 40lbs unassisted

· Standing for long periods of time

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to use down-time efficiently

· Skilled with multi-tasking

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Involvement with several cleaning and stocking duties.
