Job Description


Responsible for managing the “Hire to Retire” processes and helping improve the employee experience in the remote workforce throughout the United States. The person in this position will support the implementation of HR strategies and objectives through people management expertise. The specific client group(s) within the remote workforce that will be supported by the Human Resources Manager will be determined by experience level and business need.


ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:


  • Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs in the full cycle of hire to retire processes (i.e. talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee relations, leave of absence, separation and off-boarding)
  • Serves as an interpreter and advocate for HR policies, including reviewing and recommending enhancements to established processes, programs or practices
  • Establishes cross-functional partnerships across business (i.e. Sales Operations, Sales Training) and HR functions (i.e. Payroll, Benefits, Total Rewards) to deliver value added service to management and staff that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
  • Develops and maintains an effective working knowledge of business strategies, objectives, goals and culture to effectively align HR principles and practices with business needs
  • Provide consultation and guidance on issues related to employee performance and day to day employee relations issues
  • Assessing training and development needs and managing the implementation of HR related objectives (i.e. Inclusion & Diversity initiatives, First Line Manager training)
  • Identifying and creating ad-hoc or ongoing reports to analyze HR trends and business impacts
  • HR Lead Representative for Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s)
  • Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned

This is a remote position. Preferred locations are New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

Qualifications


Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.


Education/Certification/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college required
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience and/or minimum 3 years of direct business group support experience required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Desired:

  • Employee relations experience strongly preferred
  • Talent management and development experience
  • Demonstrated broad business acumen including financial acumen, strategic thinking, performance metrics etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or expert level
  • Change Management and organizational development
  • Pharmaceutical HR experience preferred but not required
  • Quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and people skills, in particular the ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and multitask to support a number of projects in a collaborative and fast pace environment
  • Prioritization and multi-tasking a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:


During initial training period, domestic travel will be required up to 100% of the time. Onboarding with the business and with Centers of Excellence may occur at Teva’s NJ headquarters or any other US locations
Ongoing business travel will be required up to 70% of the time


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Occasional:
Sitting for extended periods of time at work station.


Remote Work:


  • Core hours of this position requires availability from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM ES at a minimum
  • This role will support employees throughout the US in different time zones and will need to be available and flexible during non-core EST hours
  • Based on business needs, extended hours may be required occasionally with little to no advanced notice
  • Candidate must have a full time secure workplace that ensures confidentiality and discretion without interruption
  • Must be willing and able to appear on video for all work meetings

Visual Acuity:


  • Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:


  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (e.g. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
