Summary
Monitors production processes of the facility to ensure all products meet company quality and food safety requirements during plant operations to ensure compliance with all company, regulatory and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays 10am-EOS
Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

$3,000 Retention Payout:
- $600 @ 30 days
- $600 @ 60 days
- $600 @ 90 days
- $1,200 @ 6 months
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure product meets internal and customer specifications and take appropriate actions when a non-compliance is noted.
- Accurately conduct product reviews for compliance to include grading, packaging and weights.
- Perform and accurately record quality checks on product and regulatory checks as specified within company programs and USDA regulations.
- Monitor associates' work practices and address any deficiencies noticed immediately while continually evaluating potential for foreign material contamination while in assigned work areas.
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper working condition prior to start up and record findings.
- Perform digital data entry, digital and paper record review per quality specifications.
Minimum Education
High school or equivalent preferred
Experience Requirements
- 0 -2 year of work experience
- Good communication (both oral and written) and basic math skills
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in food quality and/or food safety preferred
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
When in a plant environment:
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (28-100 Degrees Fahrenheit)
- Humidity (0-100%)
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
- Noise (50db. to 100db.)
- May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Able to stand for several hours.
- Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
