Responsibilities:
The Director of IT Shared Services will lead the overall strategy, development and implementation of shared IT services across the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, infrastructure and information security. The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the IT shared services function is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives and will provide leadership and management to the IT shared services team.

Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and ensure it is reliable, secure, and scalable.
  • Implement processes to ensure IT infrastructure services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate new technologies to enhance the infrastructure environment.
  • Understand cloud computing and the ability to lead the company through this important migration process in alignment with the cloud strategy.
  • Lead the cloud migration strategy for the company's IT infrastructure, including identifying and mitigating risks, developing a timeline, and communicating the plan to stakeholders.
  • Assist with technologies required to implement integration for SaaS migration strategy for the company's IT application portfolio, including identifying and mitigating risks, developing a timeline, and communicating the plan to stakeholders.
  • Manage the team responsible for the implementation of the technologies, including the selection of cloud providers, the deployment of cloud infrastructure, and the integration of existing systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the company's cloud infrastructure, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing upgrades and patches.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in cloud computing and provide guidance to the company on how to leverage these advancements to improve the IT infrastructure.
Information Security:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's information security strategy and roadmap
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's security posture through policies, procedures, and technology solutions.
  • Develop and implement controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company data and systems.
  • Ensure the compliance of IT shared services with relevant regulations and standards, such as security and data protection standards
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security team, including threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices and make recommendations for improvements to the security program
  • Respond to security incidents and lead the incident response process, including forensic investigations and root cause analysis and take necessary action to prevent future incidents.
  • Manage the budget and resources for the security team
  • Mentor and develop the security team members to ensure the team has the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the company's security needs
Management:
  • Lead a team of infrastructure and security professionals and will work closely with IT and business leaders to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the IT team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT leaders across the organization.
  • Manage the budget for IT shared services, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate the potential impact on the organization's IT shared services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior IT management role with a focus on infrastructure and information security.
  • Extensive knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST, and regulatory compliance requirements, such as PCI DSS
  • Strong understanding of ransomware threats and experience implementing protection measures against ransomware
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies and their impact on the business and technology landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Working Location: Office/Hybrid
This position is in-office with a flexible schedule that may entail working from home a couple days a week.
