With the goal towards building "clients for life," this Client Advisor will work in partnership with their Generalist Client Advisor to best serve the financial advisors in their territory. To accomplish this, the Client Advisor should have the mindset of a solutions provider, a highly consultative approach and the ability to establish rapport and build/maintain trust. Collaboration with their generalist client advisor and the local Edward Jones leadership teams is an essential component to the success of this role.

JPMorgan Asset Management - US Funds Management seeks a Client Advisor for St Louis, Missouri within the Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) channel for JP Morgan serving Edward Jones to provide field sales coverage to clients.

This Client Advisor will work with-in a team model of existing Client Advisors and will have the primary responsibility for establishing and growing JPM clients with newer Edward Jones financial advisors. The Client Advisor will work with Edward Jones financial advisors to consultatively position mutual funds to increase assets under management. This Client Advisor will also be responsible for communicating JP Morgan thoughts on markets, retirement and portfolio construction though the Guide to the Markets, Guide to Retirement and Portfolio Insights programs.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
  • Innovation mindset - is on the lookout for better and faster ways of doing things
  • Knowledge and understanding of wholesaling in an internal or external is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, securities licenses preferred, Series 7 & 63 licenses.
  • Organized and disciplined - is responsible for efficiently and effectively utilizing their time and local budget
  • Demonstrated professionalism-presence, communication style
