Overview:
Our Treasury Operations department is looking for an organized and self-motivated analyst to assist with daily accounts payable functions. The analyst will correspond with vendors, PPL employees, and auditors; research and resolve issues and exceptions; perform daily controls; and prepare and analyze metrics. The successful candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as possess problem solving and time management skills, attention to detail, and be comfortable working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
This position may also be hired at the Associate, Senior or Lead Cash Operations Analyst levels based on the successful candidate's background, education and experience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Review reports to identify over payments/short payments and fraudulent payments
  • Enter credit/adjustments in appropriate systems with reason
  • Create refund request for over payments and submit for approvals and processing
  • Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation
  • Investigate and resolve complex exceptions associated with processing accounts payable/receivable transactions with clear communication, both verbally and written, to ensure timely resolution
  • Assist on special projects as needed
  • Prepare and ensure timely completion of month end, quarterly and year end reporting requirements
  • Prepare department journal entries and account reconciliations as needed.
  • Analyze technology solutions and implement improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide system related support to the department and resolve Coordinate and perform system testing.
  • Provide customer service for both internal/external customers in a positive and professional manner
  • Assist with the preparation and issuance of all compliance (i.e. 1099MISC).
  • Perform daily control work
  • Resolve exceptions associated with bank reconciliation
  • Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers

Basic Qualifications:
Associate Cash Operations Analyst:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 0 to 2 years financial experience
  • Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills

Cash Operations Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years financial experience
  • Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills
Senior Cash Operations Analyst:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 4 to 8 years financial experience
  • Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills
Lead Cash Operations Analyst:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline or 10 years of related experience.
  • Seven years of financial experience
  • Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA/CTP
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
