Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinates internal program audits and maintains all documentation ensuring requirements of state and federal programs are being met.
  • Develops reporting requirements.
  • Leads projects critical to program support, including identifying user issues, initiating new plan requests and forms development.
  • Develops and implements communication tools for new and related programs.
  • Manages the process by which customer service complaints get handled.
  • Responds to questions regarding benefit/economic assistance from the general public.
  • Coordinates services with outside agencies/sources.
  • Identifies training needs and assists with training development.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Five (5) to Seven (7)+ years of experience in Benefits and Eligibility Specialist related experience
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems (such as ADP etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Education


Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of training, certifications, and experience

Travel Requirements:
This position will involve no travel.
