Job description

The Account Executive accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans. The Account Executive will be responsible for assisting in the crafting of sales plans and implementation of devised plans. This position also involves working within the parameters of the organization to raise the overall quality of the product through interaction with project management, leadership, and industry partners to ensure all data related to job sources and referral origins are updated and accurate.

Essential Job Functions

  • Arrive at the office no later than 7:30 AM Monday through Friday
  • Follow all company policies and practices outlined in the employee handbook, including corporate guidelines
  • Develop basic ongoing understanding of tech level and Project Manager level job functions with ability to utilize gained knowledge when interacting with potential clients as appropriate

§ Responsible for contributing and coordinating all sales and marketing aspects of the water, fire and mold restoration business as part of a team

§ Optimize sales opportunities by creating invaluable partnerships/relationships with Insurance Agents and Adjusters, Risk Managers, Property Managers, Facility Managers and other leads generating lines of business

§ Strengthen long term business relationships and foster development of new opportunities with existing clients

§ Demonstrate, uphold, and maintain the highest level of integrity at all times, while furthering business endeavors of the company

  • Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available to clients
  • Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
  • Identify (SMART) goals and ensure that they support market engagement plans
  • Use time management skills effectively to achieve department goals
  • Attend all department and company meetings as well as ServiceMaster training seminars and workshops as required

§ Maintain membership and involvement in targeted associations and achieve significant committee and/or leadership positions

  • Assist with other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Director of Sales

Skills/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel along with ability to learn additional industry specific software
  • Knowledge of common social media platforms and their operational rules
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Minimum Requirements

· High School diploma achieved. Associate degree in marketing, communication, business management or related field preferred. 1 year of relevant sales and/or marketing experience with 2-4 years preferred. Knowledge of or experience in the restoration industry is helpful.

· Ability to effectively present information to individuals/groups and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public

· Ability to be self-motivated and complete tasks with limited direction post training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
