As a senior leadership team member, the Vice President of Apparel works collaboratively to provide leadership and vision to drive The North Face's global Apparel product execution. Shapes and creates an organization with a strong consumer focus and sound organizational values, which drives change and ensures The North Face’s product and brand proposition are at the heart of the business. Brings to market global Apparel product proposition, delivering innovative Industry-leading product as well as commercially successful and effective product ranges in all product segments in apparel.

How You Will Make a Difference
What you will do:
Leads a global Apparel product organization recruiting and developing the highest caliber of expertise product management and development.
Builds the right skill set in the central global product engine as well as in the regional and local Apparel product selection with a strong collaboration with design and merchandising teams.
Creates a global and innovation focused culture, capable of working cross-functionally and ensuring the Apparel product vision is reflected and executed in the marketing and distribution strategies.
Drives a truly global Apparel product POV leading and mentoring the central product engine to create and deliver industry leading, consumer focused, and market relevant product proposition and creating regional capabilities focused on selecting and placing regionally and locally relevant product offering to maximize The North Face’s market share and future success in every country.
Delivers tangible business and brand growth (in line with set revenue and profitability goals ).
Partners with functional leaders on strategic cross functional initiatives designed to drive sales growth, margin improvement or expense reduction that support the delivery of brand and business goals.
Maximizes category presence among current distribution channels and identifies new product opportunities for existing accounts and channels.

Skills for Success
Years of related professional experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with 12+ years of product management
Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
What we expect you already know:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with 12+ years of product management, retail buying/merchandising, sourcing and manufacturing experience with a global apparel business with proven success building businesses.
Thorough knowledge of best global materials, product development and manufacturing practices needed.
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership of a globally dispersed and operationally diverse team are key requirements.
A proven track record of setting strategy and driving change in large organizations. Demonstrated leadership capability in a creative environment, strong strategic planning and analytical skills as well as product merchandising expertise required.

Pay Range:
$236,736.00 USD - $355,104.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential:
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
Long-Term Incentive:
This is position is eligible to participate in a Long-Term Incentive Plan. Specific details of the plan will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
