Transportation Associate (Driver)
Ridgefield, Connecticut
Ridgefield Station, an assisted living and memory support community in Ridgefield, CT, is seeking a Driver to join the team! The driver will be responsible for providing safe transportation for our community residents to and from activities and excursions, as well as other duties as assigned by a supervisor. This individual will also support with activities that residents participate in. This person will drive the community van. AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Per Diem: Sundays
Starting rate at $17 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive the van in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner
  • Assist residents in and out of the van at all times
  • Properly secure equipment including wheelchairs
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean driving record
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A positive "can do" attitude
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • 1-2 years experience in a professional driving position is preferred
  • A desire to serve seniors and a dedication to improving their quality of life is required.
