SRG Global in Evansville, IN is seeking a Toolmaker to join our team. At this time, 2nd and 3rd shift positions are available.

Our Team
We play a key role in repairing and maintaining tools, and building new tools and components for machines. We prioritize safety, and strive to create an environment for growth and innovation.

For this role, we anticipate paying up to $30 hourly. Compensation will be negotiable based on experience.

What You Will Do

• Perform repairs to mold tools this includes the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system of the mold

• Build new tool components and mechanical machine components

• Make modifications to mold tools and mechanical machine components

• Complete preventative maintenance work to mold tools this includes the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system of the mold

• Perform repairs to mechanical machine components

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 1+ year of injection molding experience, or other machining experience

• Experience utilizing hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• 4 year Journeyman Toolmaker

• 2+ years experience working in a tool shop

• Experience attending to mold breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem

• Experience setting up and operating lathes, mills & surface grinders and/or other manufacturing machinery

• Experience using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges and dial calipers to check the tooling components dimensions
