The opportunity:

The Time Entry Specialist is responsible for Time Entry reporting and reconciliation for the Longview mill. This is a fast-paced general office position with occasional bending, lifting, standing and extended periods of focused data and document analysis. Some stress may occur as this job is time sensitive to legal and compliant data entry and protection.

How you will impact WestRock:

• Approve Time entry for union hourly.
• Validate time entry to contract rules, completeness, and accuracy.
• Review and process union hourly time entry adjustments.
• Completion of union hourly absences.
• Calculate and review new rates for JRA’s (Job Rate Adjustment).
• Review and process grievance payments.
• Validate vacation rollover and floating holidays earned.
• Holiday credit validation for union hourly.
• Manage union hourly termination final pay hours in time entry.
• Communicating and assisting with employees and supervisors as needed.
• Assist schedulers as needed/backup.
• Work with functional support as issues arise.
• Provide yearly vacation qualifying report.
• Run various reports out of time entry for local leadership.
• Maintain all contract hourly union rates to the sixth place.
• Provide backup assistance to main gate staff.
  

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in timekeeping, preferred.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Excel and other MS Office products.
• Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Well-developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence, and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and sensitive HR issues.
• Knowledge of Kronos/Peoplesoft systems, preferred.

Compensation Offered

• Salary range: $50,000 - $75,100 FLSA: Non-Exempt.
