We’re looking for an amazing Lead, Technical Data Engineering to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. This Technical Lead will also be responsible for leading a team of BI developers responsible for creating reports for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data engineers, ETL and BI developers in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration, transformation, and data quality solutions
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Informatica, IICS, IDMC, and other relevant tools and technologies
• Design and develop data models and databases using Snowflake, DB2, and Oracle
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI and other relevant tools
• Lead the team in developing and implementing data governance practices
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team
• Work with cloud technologies and AWS to develop and maintain cloud-based data solutions
• Continuously improve development processes and methodologies, leveraging Kanban and Scrum methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL/ELT, BI, Analytics, Data Quality, and cloud technologies
• Experience with Informatica, IICS, Snowflake, DB2, Oracle, PL/SQL, Python, Power BI, cloud technologies, and AWS
• Experience leading a team of data engineers and providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration, transformation, and data quality best practices and methodologies
• Experience with Kanban and Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Base Salary Range: $97,800.00 to $132,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
