JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for reviewing, monitoring, analyzing, interpreting and reporting compliance-related financial information for a Federally recognized Tribal Casino. Direct supervision of Finance Compliance Specialist, provides oversite and ensures Finance Compliance meets all BSA and IRS Regulatory deadlines. Works closely with outside auditors regarding quarterly compliance audits and year-end audits. Works with other departments within TGO to ensure compliance with internal audit recommendations. Works in accordance with the current policies, procedures, applicable federal laws, with an emphasis on BSA Title 31 Laws. Provides necessary documents and information to departments and, as appropriate to governmental agencies.

Requirements

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business from an accredited college or university required. Minimum of two College Level-accredited Accounting Classes and Four (4) years Finance Experience in a Compliance Leadership role may be considered in lieu of the associate degree.

SKILLS:
Ability to compose business correspondence, i.e., memorandums, emails, business letters, reports, etc. (Test required)

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible Finance experience including working with data analysis and reconciliation.
Minimum of five (5) years working in a Casino environment
Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience
Minimum of three (3) years working with tax form processing software; forms 945, 1042, and 1099.
Minimum of three (3) years of BSA, Title 31 Compliance, and AML experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of Federal tax form compliance experience.
Minimum of three (3) years experience working with outside minimum internal control compliance auditors.
Minimum of three (3) years experience filing business and payroll taxes.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Will be responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP's, and co-workers.
Must attend mandatory guest service training and mandatory job related training.
Must have tolerance and patience for dealing with upset, angry, and/or frustrated individuals.
Must be flexible to work at all gaming sites, Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Tulalip Bingo.
Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
Must be available to work any shift to include days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as job duties require.
Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or employers.
