Join the team at the North Shore's most magical brewery! Our beers are exceptional, our tacos are amazing, and our community support is the best. While we are a brewpub, we offer a full menu and bar experience including cocktails and wine. We are looking for a bartender that is comfortable talking about craft beer, but also has familiarity with wine, spirits and food service.

Ravinia Brewing is a bustling Brewpub within the Ravinia Business District of Highland Park. With an intimate indoor setting and ample outdoor seating, we are gearing up for a bustling spring and summer. We are looking fill multiple roles for evenings and weekends.

As a small business, preference will be given to those who are flexible and positive while ensuring a terrific customer experience!

Duties will include:

• Delivering exceptional food and beer experiences to guests
• Providing exceptional service through attention to detail, great rapport with guests, and knowledge of food and beer
• Discussing beer in all its grandeur
• Helping guests with their questions and selections
• Being an ambassador for Ravinia Brewing beers and experiences
• Handling multiple tabs at the bar, and tables in the dining room as needed
• Handling opening/closing procedures and cash handling
• Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards

Our Expectations:

• At least 2 years of bartending / service experience. You should know basic cocktails and steps of quality service from day one.
• Beer knowledge and/or the ability to learn. You should know basic beer styles and popular breweries.
• BASSET and Food Handler Certified in Illinois.
• General food knowledge and the ability to learn.
• Weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
