About the position

A provider of direct psychiatric services for patients. Assists in planning, organizing, coordinating and directing professional service activities and programs assigned. This position provides care to a vulnerable population which requires employees to adhere to all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to consumer rights regulations, confidentiality laws, and accreditation requirements associated with this position and field. As such, incumbents should be proactive, detail-oriented, and diligent with protecting consumer information, and possess the ability to understand all laws and regulations regarding consumer rights.

• Annual Salary: Board Certified $94.00 per hour Board Eligible $88.46 per hour
• Primary Working Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
• FLSA Status: Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Must be licensed to practice Medicine or osteopathy by the State of Oklahoma and be Board Certified.

Knowledge in the fields of psychiatry and physical medicine. Must possess assessment skills for appropriate evaluation and treatment of psychiatric and physical illnesses. Must possess written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and record keeping, charting skills and basic math skills; ability to provide leadership to team members. Ability to record observations and activities, follow oral and written instructions, maintain effective working relationships with others, and to intervene quickly in a crisis. Ability to make a variety of complex clinical decisions.

• Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

Other CACMHC offices located in Southeastern Oklahoma are—Holdenville Satellite, Heavener Satellite, Hugo Satellite, Idabel Satellite, Stigler Satellite, Atoka Satellite and Ada PACT.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
