Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Lead Support Technician for a year+ long contract in Sacramento, CA.

OBJECTIVE: This position under general supervision of the IT End Point Support supervisor or the
team lead will provide desktop computer support and provide support in FIG projects. Some of the
support responsibilities include: Support of desktop/laptop, mobile devices, computer hardware and
peripherals, Windows and Mac operating systems, and application software. Install and troubleshoot
hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity issues using acceptable best practices method
and instructions if provided.

Duties also include unplug IT equipment, move/lift and plug the equipment in new locations. Follow documented procedures to configure and deploy workstations to match department or unit specific configurations and to comply with security policies. The candidate must have knowledge and experience with computer hardware and software products. The primary
focus will be to help deploy and install IT client devices for IT Infrastructure projects. This position will exercise initiative and judgment in applying established principles and best practices. This position requires someone with technical skills, people skills and someone that can work in a hospital setting around doctors, nurses and patients. A successful candidate will be someone that has hands on experience and knowledge of PCs, printers and application deployment.

HOURS: Monday thru Friday (any combination of days / varied shift hours) and optional weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:

THIS CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE LEADING A TEAM/PROJECT

This position will be responsible for desktop computer support and supporting FIGs and projects for the IT Infrastructure team.

This position must have knowledge of desktop/laptop, mobile devices, computer hardware, label printers, peripherals, Windows and Mac operating systems, and application software.

Must be able to multi-task.

Ability to work independently and with the team, set priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines.

Candidate should be able to give instructions to the team and change in priorities in a dynamic environment.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication

Must be able to document progress throughout the project

DUTIES:
? Work closely with IT department teams and customers to deploy IT end point devices.
? Occasionally lift materials up to 20 lbs.
? Be able to push dolly/carts with equipment loaded.
? Work in busy office environment with frequent interruptions.
? Use computer equipment for extended periods
? Be able to work under pressure and follow instructions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
