Weems Design Studio has recently been awarded a contract with HHS/ASPR to support its Contracts Division. This is a Government Contractor position. The successful candidate must be able to pass a Government background check. Below is the position description:

• Perform purchase order/task order contract pre-award functions such as reviewing and assisting customers including preparation of procurement requests, requests for contacts, statements of work, and sole source justifications.
• Assist customers with market research.
• Prepare solicitation documents; obtain quotes/proposals; review quotes/proposals; make recommendations to the Contracting Officer for source selection; and prepare associated pre-award and award documentation for Contracting Officer review.
• Perform purchase order/task order/contract post-award functions such as processing unilateral and bilateral modifications and closing out awards after expiration of the award.
• Ensure accurate terms and conditions are included in award.
• Provide advice and assistance to contractors and program officials on administration issues.
• Perform the full range of closeout functions for expired awards.
• Independently research applicable regulations, policies, and guidance documents for contact management issues (pre-award, post-award, allowable costs, invoices, etc.)
• Ensure accurate terms and conditions are included in modifications.
• Attend meetings/conference calls associated with assigned workload.Provide support to the CO in responding to Appeals/Disputes/FOIA Requests and Protests.
• Respond to data calls as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $98,000.00 per year
