Shuttle Driver (Part Time and Full Time Available)

SUMMARY:

Provides a luxury guest service by making deliveries, drop-offs, pick-ups, and assistance to uphold guest satisfaction of the hotel quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide shuttle service for hotel guests in a safe and courteous manner
• Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required
• Stop at designated points to load and unload guest
• Follow all safety procedures when operation shuttle
• Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the shuttle and for reporting any major problems to the General Manager and/or The Director of Transportation
• Reads log book daily.
• Keeps up-to-date on in-house groups and functions.
• Assist guest by lifting and carrying guest luggage/baggage on and off the shuttle van as needed
• Have complete knowledge of hotel amenities and layout, local attractions, and airport transportation
• Provide information and response to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, attractions, directions etc.
• in order to maximize guest satisfaction
• Make sure the shuttle/s gas tank is full
• Make sure to clean inside shuttle after each shift.
• “Posts up” - demonstrating a readiness to help.
• Able to accurately give directions and information regarding the immediate and metro areas.
• Is a positive thinker and company driven.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures.
• Ensures that all checklists and responsibilities are completed by the end of shift.
• Each associate will be required to follow the rules as found in the M&R Employee Handbook
• Perform other duties as assigned by management of which employee is capable of performing

Requirements:

• Able to provide Drivers Abstract Report
• Be able to obtain USDOT Medical Examiners Certificate
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Have a valid “E” driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
