Job description

We are currently searching for an experienced individual to fill our Shipping/Receiving Supervisor position. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of the shipping/receiving operation for our fast-paced, high-volume produce company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Must review and maintain schedules and ensure all produce is received and shipped timely and accurately.

· Maintain receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing SOPs, personnel policies and procedures.

· Ensures all employees are effectively trained and conduct retraining & cross-training to enhance employee development.

· Monitor work activities to ensure safety procedures are followed.

Education and Experience:

· At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution supervisor leadership position required.

· Must be proficient using a computer and possess data-entry experience.

· Experience working in a warehousing environment with forklift safety required.

· Must have current forklift certification. Pallet jack certification a plus.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, manuals and SOP’s.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Must be able to speak and write in English.

· Bi-lingual in Spanish required.

· Experience working with berries preferred.

· Famous experience preferred.

· Nights, weekends, and overtime required.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to work in 34-degree F cold room for extended periods.

· Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
