Monitors and evaluates the workplace to ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety and environmental regulations

Administers training programs in accident and fire prevention and protection and other employee safety procedures

Prepares and distributes educational material and information, including safety displays

Conducts site visits to collect safety information and audit facilities for compliance with OSHA regulations

Maintains appropriate safety and environmental documentation

Understands and interprets ISO 9000 as relates to safety and environmental requirements

Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.

1+ years of experience

Must have shipboard and shipyard experience.

Must be a US Citizen.

The likely salary range for this position is $58,240 - $87,360, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
