Summary: To control inventories at-risk and to promote its recuperation or salvage, minimize inventory loses, define root cause and implement long-term solution. Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of coordinating and improving the organization's supply chain operations with respect to supply and inventory (both raw materials and finished goods). To identify optimization opportunities in the Planning area/processes and will suggest improvements/solutions to problems or leveraging strengths.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
At Risk Inventory Related
  • Analyze At risk inventory data and track actions associated with ARI categories (slow moving, non-moving, expired, obsolete, etc.).
  • Coordinate the process to find alternatives for utilization of expired, out-of-spec, slow/non-moving and obsolete inventories.
  • Lead the root cause analysis and action plan implementation to prevent future inventory loses.
  • Monitor expired inventory based on best by date to activate alternatives of use such as rework, or vendor rejection/return.
  • Lead and coordinate meetings with cross functional teams across the organization focusing on “At risk inventories” recuperation or salvage to minimize inventory loses.
  • Generate run-out analysis for FG and RM.
  • Provide support for weekly and monthly S&OP meetings.
Loss of Inventory Related
  • Coordinate inventory destructions and give follow up to MTD and YTD company dumped inventory.
  • Promotes the definition of preventive actions to avoid recurrence and follow up on completion of actions as assigned to responsible departments.
Supply Chain Analyst Related
  • Assist Planning department with reporting activities (Inventory tracking, SO at risk, PO analysis, Supplier OTIF, Others).
  • Work with Planners and Schedulers to consolidate updates on weekly follow up activities such as production dates status, POs postpone/cancelations and others).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial/Operations Engineering or Business.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with ERP-MRP system knowledge.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Supply Chain Analyst.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Power BI advanced experience
  • Proven analytical skills, strong problem solving and data interpreting abilities a must
  • Support dynamic work environment through excellent decision-making skills with the ability to work within a team and independently.
  • APICS/ CPIM is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, MS Office, Data Analysis Tools.
