BSET, LLC is recruiting for the position of Senior Program and Operations Specialist. This is a remote, regular full-time position based in Alaska and in Hawaii. This position reports to the Director of Operations.


JOB SUMMARY:

Senior Program and Operations Specialist will be responsible for planning, synchronizing, and coordinating support for all DIV 601 business and military programs and operations. Preparing and assisting in leading long-range and near-term planning, guidance, and execution, drafting and submitting deliverables. Coordinate with the commercial, government organizations, and military service component representatives on long-range plans and conduct analysis of programs and operations. The candidate will be goal-oriented, detail oriented and possess a work history of driving successful project outcomes and skillfully working across organizations to build consensus and support. The ideal candidate is drawn to opportunities and innovation, enjoys teamwork, and regards critical thinking and problem solving as essential. Will require the ability to think strategically and act tactically, as appropriate. This position requires the ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinate with Corporate departments as required to complete Contract Review and Entry, Account Receivable and Accounts Payable for all ongoing Division 601 operations.
  • Experience as a billable resource with background in executing multiple types of contract awards (T&M, CPFF, FFP).
  • Assist with budget and resource management, includes grant and proposal support.
  • Facilitate and distribute Deliverables for all ongoing Division 601 operations.
  • Coordinate all TAR processing for DIV 601 employees and contractors.
  • Review and analyze documents submitted for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work in groups/teams on special projects to accomplish program goals.
  • Communicate via telephone and/or e-mail with high-level officials throughout Government agencies, Customers and other contract affiliates.
  • Research and provide accurate information on matters necessary to carry out the program policies.
  • Conduct knowledge management of data and information for projects and operations.
  • Update automated records/database, as applicable.
  • Process various types of incoming inquiries and documentation.
  • Collect, compile, and report data concerning weekly accomplishments.
  • Designs and develops project plans to implement new policies, programs and initiatives, and operating processes of strategic significance to the unit.
  • Organizes and coordinates implementation of project plans to ensure compliance with overall strategic plans, goals and unit objectives, as well as maintenance of optimal operating efficiency within the unit.
  • Establishes and implements short and long term goals and objectives to ensure that projects are successfully completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, and that the end product is consistent with initial requirements.
  • Researches and analyzes best methods and practices relative to achievement of specified unit goals and operating objectives; designs and develops alternative systems and procedures, as appropriate to the objectives of the unit.
  • Develops and drafts proposals and/or collaborative agreements for new and/or revised strategic policies, programs, and/or operating procedures.
  • Develops, prepares, and presents program reports; maintains comprehensive program records and statistical information.
  • Prepares and presents briefings to organizational senior leaders and executives.
  • Plans and coordinates planning conferences, resource allocations, organization structures, and performance analysis.
  • Produce and lead broad and complex studies and analysis. Maintain reporting statistics and assess past collection to assist staff in determining the impact of their operations and shaping future collection.
  • Based on the assignments, he or she will assist in developing new or modified work methods, innovative approaches, and alternative uses of new or available data sources.
  • Work with all functional departments as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and to maintain high ethical standards.
  • Personally model company values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility, and performance.
  • Assist and perform resource management duties for the government; assist COR or KO to ensure requirements for support and services are met
  • Perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • 10 years' relevant experience with Bachelor degree in related field; 8 years' relevant experience with Master degree in related field; or 14 years' relevant experience in Contract and Project Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to draft, proof-read, edit, and finalize deliverables for various contract vehicles.
  • Valid US Passport
  • Proficient in working with MS Office program and Shared Portal
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance; prefer a Top-Secret clearance
