The duties required are:
- Debug, evaluate and characterize of silicon prototypes, including the creation of eval/char plans, data collection/analysis, and generating/presenting technical reports.
- Developing innovative bench evaluation systems taking care of mechanical aspects, PCBs design and lab bench automation software development and setup.
- Lab management: in charge of systems in lab and procurement of tools needed in lab for the PMIC-DHC-VSM group, including maintaining and organize lab networking and test bench setup
- Experience in the use of multimeters, programmable DC power supplies, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, function and signal generators, logic analyzers, digital serial analyzers etc.
Growth Path:
As the candidate develops their competence in our products and characterization methodology, they will be asked to:
- Assist in the design and layout of bench boards reviewing with Applications and Designers on latest layout practices.
- Cooperate with DEs to bring up new Si in lab allowing the capability of prototype.
- Build automation in Labview/Matlab for bench testing; setup and train engineering aides to run testing. Debug issues when the results do not meet expectations.
- Build new S/W or H/W tools that simplify and improve the reliability of the bench testing
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor degree or High school diploma in Electronic Engineering or related field
- Strong verbal and written English and overall communication skills
- Knowledge of basic analog and digital circuits.
- Basic Semiconductor physics Bipolar/CMOS/DMOS devices, PN and NP junctions
- Familiar with NI Labview/Matlab and basic C knowledge are required. C++, C#, Python.
