A role you will love

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate with assigned business groups in the organization through research, elicitation, and analysis on a larger scale. The goal of this role is to develop technical requirements for requested enhancements and new applications in support of company applications for customers, investors, and vendors.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze, create, and document business and system processes into functional requirement documentation ensuring the IT development standards are met through the use of templates and process flows, including:
    • Validate the captured requirements match the intention of the stakeholders needs.
    • Participate in solution design with Developers.
    • Define the solution scope in terms of the new capabilities.
    • Produce Functional Specification documents.
    • Manage requirements traceability from business requirements to implemented solution.
    • Manage approval process on requirements and functional specifications.
    • Identify and manage changes to requirements.
  • Work closely with the Business Units and Development on projects and enhancements including changes that may come up, including:
    • Conduct stakeholder analysis, build and manage stakeholder relationships.
    • Accurately capture the information provided in elicitation sessions in format stakeholders can understand, review and validate.
    • Identify and communicate risks, issues, constraints, and assumptions that may impact scope and/or solution.
    • Ensure that all requirements support the delivery of business value, fulfill goals and objectives and meet a stakeholder need.
  • Work with project teams during the design, development, testing and implementation of modifications to systems.
  • Oversee and/or lead projects from a business analysis perspective, provide status reports and act as primary point of contact for stakeholder communications.

What will you bring to the role?

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical Business Analyst role
  • Experience creating business process documentation with Visio, including creating models of business flows, decision trees and other types of documentation.
  • Ability to create prototypes and prototyping (Preference for Axure)
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL Server queries
  • In-depth experience with various SDLCs, Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
  • Experience with QA testing and user acceptance testing
  • Experience working with financial systems, including payment systems (for example: Google Financial or Great Plains)
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Business analysis certification
  • Ability to model and document data exchanges between financial systems

Compensation. $100,000 - $120,000 per year USD depending on experience.
