Position Overview

We are seeking self-driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated people to join our team! Self-Storage Reps are responsible for providing superior service to our customers and assist with operational activities ensuring exceptional maintenance of our facilities. Ideal candidates must have a passion for customer service and sales, be proactive, operate with integrity, and effectively on a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with assistance in determining the storage unit size by assessing needs and offering the available storage size options.
• Process daily bank deposits accurately and timely.
• Maintain merchandise inventory including restocking as needed.
• Prepare storage units for leasing, including cleaning vacant units in a timely manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and custodial duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience and /or training in Direct Sales, Retail, and/or Customer Service is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Location: Norwalk, CT; Stratford, CT

Hours: Part-Time 20-25 hrs, 3-4 days/week, including weekends.

Operating Hours: Norwalk location is open 8AM-7PM, Monday through Friday; 8AM-6PM, Saturday; 10AM-5PM Sunday. Stratford location is open 9AM-6:30PM, Monday through Friday; 8AM-6PM, Saturday; 9AM-4PM Sunday.

Compensation: $15-$17/hr; Eligible to participate in monthly incentive program

Employees must have a current driver's license and must be able to travel to other locations (Norwalk, Branford, Stratford) as needed.
