Mega Capital Funding, Inc., is a well established Residential Wholesale and Correspondent Mortgage Banker currently experiencing growth. Our model is to be a consistently competitive lender in way of products and price, while offering exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Secondary Marketing Team as a Secondary Marketing Specialist to work in our Calabasas office. The ideal candidate will have previous secondary marketing experience, have problem solving skills and be detail oriented.

Skills:

• Basic math skills- must be extremely comfortable with numbers and possess the ability to easily add/subtract/multiply/divide fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel- the ability to create and work with excel spreadsheets with complex math and logic formulas (eg. VLOOKUP)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and accurately
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills- the ability to interact with internal and external clients across departments and locations
• Strong attention to detail
• Secondary Marketing/Lock Desk experience in the mortgage industry a plus
• Familiarity with MeridianLink (LendingQB) a plus
• Experience with Lending QB a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Backup for daily creation and distribution of rate sheets
• Provide loan scenario pricing and respond to product eligibility questions quickly and accurately.
• Maintain pricing/lock data within the company’s LOS system.
• Process locks, changes, and extension requests.
• Lock loans with investors as instructed by the Secondary Marketing Manager and double check pricing.
• Provide support and answer questions regarding the rate lock process.
• Resolve and/or escalate complex loan scenarios to appropriate resources.
• Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies and take steps to resolve any issues.
• Assist in reconciliation of purchase advices and address any purchase price discrepancies, ensuring that margins are maintained.
• Monitor MBS market conditions throughout the day to anticipate the need for market driven price improvement or worsening.
• Assist the Secondary Marketing Manager with loan sales, as needed
• Maintain general mortgage compliance knowledge and complete annual recertification of training
• Issue necessary disclosures at the time of loan lock and as required thereafter
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed and assigned by the Secondary Marketing Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
