STARK is seeking a Sample Librarian in our Charlotte, NC showroom. This is a great opportunity for design industry enthusiasts to start up with one of the biggest names in the field. The incumbent is eligible for medical, dental, vision, FSA, TransitChek, 401K, and PTO benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain sample library for the showroom by organizing sample returns and distributing them to their appropriate boxes, replenishing as needed
- Receive and fill incoming sample request forms, distributing them to Account Managers and clients when requested
- Keeping samples well-stocked; Order and label samples when needed
- Maintain books and spreadsheets for samples and sample placements, and enter new product information into spreadsheets
- Maintain displays so they are aesthetically pleasing and correct at all times
- Receive and help merchandise all new samples for displays and wings
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a pleasant demeanor with excellent teamwork skills and be able to exchange accurate information in situations
- Must be highly organized, pay attention to detail, and take initiative
- Must possess the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Helpful to have a background in textiles- Interest in the design industry is preferred
- Intermediate-expert level knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
