Pay Range: $15.50 - $25.50

Listed wages are based on company-wide ranges. Actual earnings will vary based on factors such as: restaurant brand, experience, education, geography, applicable minimum wage, unit volume(s), hours worked & potential overtime pay.

Position Overview

The Route Service Representative (Driver) is responsible for daily delivery of fresh Krispy Kreme

Doughnuts on a designated route. This includes, providing accurate and timely delivery of the

product to customers, utilizing all available tools to reconcile delivery in compliance with specific

retailer processes and merchandising product to maximize sales per establish customer

planograms. A successful Route Driver will perform all duties in accordance with company policy,

standards or established procedures. A commitment to safety, teamwork, a clean, professional

appearance, customer-focused behaviors and a high energy level are critical to success in this role.

Safety and Sanitation

Customer Service

? Greet customer representatives in a courteous manner

? Establish relationship with appropriate receiving staff at each account

? Promptly, professionally and appropriately address any customer complaints, concerns and inquiries

? Handle difficult customer situations professionally

? Responsible for notifying supervisor of any customer complaints/concerns and action taken

? Set-up and maintain sales displays to ensure that they are positioned in appropriate locations and clean at all times

? Provide daily feedback to Supervisors on observations of product mix and inventory

? Maintain accurate inventory of orders and returns and inventory of carryover as required

? Utilize provided tools on daily basis (i.e., handhelds, POG diagrams, etc.)

? Operate automated computer hand-held invoicing/sales data equipment where applicable

? Execute product promotions to maximize sales

Product Delivery

? Load delivery vehicle with appropriate product counts and varieties for the daily delivery schedule

? Safely drive and operate the delivery vehicle

? Deliver accurate product orders to customers by the agreed upon delivery time

? Operate within established standards for timely and efficient delivery

? Remove out of date product each delivery date and issue appropriate credits

? Secure proof of delivery per account requirements to allow for collection of account receivables (i.e. store stamps, POD documents, etc)

? Load out of date product and empty racks and trays into vehicle for return to work site

? Track returns and dispose of out of date product according to company policy

? Deliver and stage empty trays and carts at worksite according to company standards

Vehicle Maintenance

? Utilize the Vehicle Inspection and Damage Report process to perform routine maintenance checks as required

? Keep company vehicle clean

? Perform basic maintenance such as checking the oil

? Report any vehicle maintenance concerns promptly and directly to a supervisor

Professionalism

? Uphold a value of teamwork with fellow team members

? Maintain a sincere, courteous and respectful demeanor with all Krispy Kremers, vendors, and customers

? Work with management and supervision to improve performance and implement new initiatives

? Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience

? Must meet Krispy Kreme driving standards (21 years of age and three year clean driving)

? Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and Motor Vehicles Report

? Ability to drive and operate delivery vehicle safely for considerable amounts of time in various environmental conditions

? Organizational skills

? Basic math skills

? Ability to read and write

? Strong interpersonal skills

? High School Diploma or Equivalent

? Previous Territory Sales experience preferred

? Previous job stability preferred

? Considerable amounts of driving, approximately 3 6 hours per day, typically in a Box Delivery Truck with automatic transmission

? Frequently involves working evening/night shifts, lasting approximately 9-12 hours.

? Lifting, sliding and positioning Dock plates and truck ramps

? Manual product handling to include staging, stacking and organizing individual product items, product carts and trays

? Completing route paperwork and reports using handheld computer device and/or written tickets and forms

Visual/Audible Acuity Requirements

? Must be able to meet requirements for a drivers license.

? Must be able to read and distinguish between products, product boxes, and labels

? Must be able to read numerals, computer screen, match written and typed information off checks

Working Conditions

? The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.

? If the truck is not air-conditioned and the store is located in an especially hot region, the worker may be subject to extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees for more than one hour).
