Tomasko's Salt Water Taffy is seeking individuals for our part-time Retail Associate position. Tomasko's Salt Water Taffy is a family-owned business located in downtown Pismo Beach. We have been in operation for over 34 years, and offer a great work environment. This is a great position for most high school or college students, but all are welcome to apply! Description:

- Ability to quickly complete tasks that require attention to detail, accuracy, and little to no instruction.

- Assist customers with transactions and any other assistance they may need.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace including the cleaning of surfaces, sinks, dishes, etc.

- Ice cream dipping, handling of different sweets, chocolates, and goodies.

- Effectively communicate with employees and management to share important information including management of supplies, customers' needs, and completion of tasks.

- Ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced work environment

Experience:

- Cash handling and ability to count change back.

- High School Diploma (preferred).

- Experience with food handling or other customer-oriented environments (preferred).
