*Day Eve Night 9 hour variable shifts*

Responsibilities:

• 1. Completes the Admission assessment of the patient providing a clear picture of his/her status.

2. Administration of Medications3. Assesses patients for potential safety risks upon admission.4. Assesses learning needs of patient/family/significant other5. Coordinates and supervises the delivery of nursing care, including the delegation of tasks.6. Promotes a positive work environment through personal example and teamwork.7. Assesses patient’s skin condition on admission, every shift, change in condition, transfer and discharge.8. Adheres to Nursing Standards of Practice to include assessment, care planning, interventions and evaluation of the plan of care.Required: License to practice in the State of Connecticut,Essential:
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
* Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support
* Registered Nurse
