The Arc of Blackstone Valley supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Blackstone Valley area (Pawtucket, Cumberland, Lincoln, Central Falls and East Providence).

We are seeking a Nurse/RN to join our amazing team! You will be responsible to monitor medical needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and to promote wellness and normalization for assigned caseload. Responsible to provide nursing services to consumers, which focuses primarily on interventions that maximize the psychosocial, physical, cognitive and developmental strengths of the individual. Responsible to ensure that these services are in compliance with all Federal & State regulations as well as Agency Policy. Responsible to provide staff training. Requires assistance with any urgent or needed nursing services in other departments for vacation and sick coverage for other nurses. Participation in treatment coverage and rotation.
We are currently hiring for Full Time Days, Evenings & Per diem opportunities. Flexibility is available, come meet with us!

Qualifications:
Current RI Nurse’s license. Experience with community nursing, particularly in field of developmental disabilities preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to various work settings quickly. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work as a member of a team. Must have CPR and CPI certification and be computer literate. Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record. Must be willing to drive and use own insured vehicle to visit various sites. Must meet all RI eligibility requirements set forth by the Attorney General’s Office (BCI). Requires flexibility to assist in other departments as needed. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
