About This Role:
ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, is currently looking for a client driven, detail-oriented person to join our family as a Regional Pricing Specialist for our growing offices in Rocky River, Ohio!
The Regional Pricing Specialist is responsible for managing centralized regional pricing support for terminals. Does this sound like you or fit your experience? Get in touch with us by applying here.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Qualifies incoming rate requests per established guidelines
• Coordinates with sales reps to convert opportunities and log in CRM
• Provides accurate and timely rates in response to customer’s request
• Facilitates the utilization of TRT by approved customers
• Maintains tariff and customer rates files in TRT and TMS, ensuring auto rating accuracy.
• Assist with RFP’s as directed
• Ensure acceptable margin levels are met with providing pricing
• Resolve pricing discrepancies
• Lead pricing strategy discussions and reviews with regional leadership
• Research market trends that affect pricing considerations and make recommendations for change or action based on insights and findings.
• Identify margin improvement and tariff compliance opportunities by region with existing customers
• Ensure pricing integrity is maintained across network
• Provide training and support for TRT from a regional perspective
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education or experience preferred
• Transportation industry experience is ideal
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) required using different tools (text, email, phone, video)
• Ability to manage a high volume of emails
• High attention to detail is required
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Microsoft Office and rate tool experience preferred
• Experience meeting deadlines and KPIs preferred
• Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast paced role
• Flexible and open to adjust to an evolving industry
