Job description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Physically receive material, coordinate incoming deliveries, document any delivery issues, receive material in Purolite ERP system, and properly manage and distribute all receiving documentation
  • Scan, file, manage all paperwork, match receiver documents to purchase orders, and report discrepancies to the relevant buyer for corrective action with vendor
  • Ensure proper timely material receipts and removal from In-transit report
  • Submit documents to AP DAILY and/or report any discrepancies to Purchasing Manager
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with the cycle count process as required
  • Support Master Planner with site specific International raw material orders
  • Report to Purchasing chain of command ensuring adherence to and focus on Purchasing department goals, directives, initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and perspective suppliers
  • Monitor stock excesses and shortages and work with Purchasing to resolve
  • Follow purchasing procedures & guidelines, obtain proper approvals, and file documentation
  • Work closely with the accounting department to assist with month end closing procedure
  • Manage the filing of all Procurement related documents
  • Closely control all purchasing ISO documents, scan into shared files, and update when necessary
  • Monitor, track, and coordinate overseas shipments with Purolite’s customs broker
  • Attend all Purolite and Purchasing department meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as directed

Position Details:

  • Location: G Street, Philadelphia, PA
  • Work week/shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
  • Rate of Pay: $23.00/hr
  • This is a hybrid environment with both warehouse and office duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in receiving, storeroom management, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
