Job description
The
Yard Spotter/Forklift Technician I performs a variety of hands-on operations including loading bulk liquid railcars and trailers as well as general forklift duties within the facility’s industrial warehouse. We are also looking for experience with a
Tractor Transfer to move trailers within the yard (No CDL needed) This is a physically demanding job requiring industrial labor under potentially adverse/challenging conditions like heat and cold year-round.
Pay: $18.50 hr.
1st shift 5am - 5pm
Mon - Fri

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading vans
- Perform drum storage, repacks, and use of drum scanner
- Operate a forklift when needed
- Complete required paperwork for waste tracking
- Wearing of proper personal protective equipment for extended periods of time, including full-face respirator and hazmat/Tyvek suit
- Other duties as assigned
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated stability in previous employment
- Ability to work a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to work in adverse conditions
- Forklift experience preferred
