Job Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee quality control activities associated with the civil, structural and architectural contract.
- Scope includes for all concrete, structural steel and building construction including MEP installation
- Ensure that contractor installs civil, structural, architectural and MEP per design documents and specifications
- Ensure that all control testing is performed in accordance with the contract inspection and testing requirements
- Review results of all quality testing
- Follow up to confirm that all non-conformances are addressed and resolved
- Participate in final punch listing of building systems
- Receive and review all QA/QC documentation and ensure that all documents are properly filed for record.
Requirements / Experience:
- Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural/Architectural and concrete
- Be well versed in concrete construction methodology and quality requirements
- Have familiarity with steel, building and MEP construction methodology and quality requirements
- Have good communications and computer skills
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Have experience on a chemical plant, refinery or oil & gas project of at least $100MM
