Your Impact

The Core Program Supervisor I (CPS I) is responsible for oversight of direct care staff and the provision of quality services according to funder and regulatory policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include supervision of staff and volunteers, coordination of services and adherence to program design. . CPS I is responsible for upholding and supervising to the Agency’s operational, financial, personnel and practice rules, policies and procedures.

Your Skills and Duties

  • Provide day-to-day direction, supervision, support, and training of assigned staff and direct care staff.
  • Provide back-up on-call support through community home visits, family assessments, etc.
  • Implement and participate in cross-training and flexibility across programs.
  • Coordinate and administer the program(s) to funder, agency, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure contract expectations and outcomes are met and in adherence to budget.
  • Conduct and document staff supervision.
  • Monitor the quality and timely submission of required documentation.
  • Participate in group supervision, staff meetings and special events.
  • Document and report incidents, grievances, complaints, issues and concerns.
  • Assists with the recruitment, onboarding, orientation, performance management, and training of staff.
  • Monitor program and service compliance by staff and partners.
  • Attend regular supervision with Core Program Manager and/or Core Program Director.
  • Provide direct service if required by program design or in the absence of assigned direct care worker.
  • Complete administrative paperwork (timesheets, time-off requests, mileage, bills, expense reimbursements, weekly schedules, and etc.).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • A college degree in related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with families and children, center-based services, or providing services in a related field
  • Lead management or supervision experience preferred
  • Experience with databases and computer programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record

Licenses and Certifications

  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical. Valid CDL and clean driving record.
  • Meets all compliance requirements of federal, state, and country regulations by periodic sanction checks.
