We have an immediate need for a Product Manufacturing Engineer in our Reynoldsburg, OH corporate office. Position summary:

  • Develop Production Process with establishment of specification of Equipment, Jigs and Tools.
  • Coordinate E-Flow evaluation and establish the targets based on A00-2 requirements and achieve those targets through working with individual Plant.

Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or 4 yrs. equivalent work experience
  • Experience of MOST, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen Activity and ISO
  • Able to read and understanding product drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, PowerPoint, access, and adobe writer)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to travel both domestically and internationally

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Assistant Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer based on Dept. Job Responsibilities.
  • Develop Process Layout, determine specification of Equipment, Jigs and Tools to achieve the highest efficient production process.
  • Establishment of Assembly and Design Labor Time based on MOST.
  • Establishment of A00-2 Target with Plants and making an explanation at Evaluation meeting.
  • Prepare required documents for E-Flow evaluation working with Plants.
  • Create improvement ideas to have the most efficient production process.
  • Standardize Production methods and management tools.
  • Create RFQ (Request for Quote) documents for equipment, jigs, and tools if needed.
  • Support the achievement of the department Business Plan Objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Environmental conditions - Open office environment. May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Vocal Communication - Required to express or exchange ideas by means of concise (clear, correct and timely) discussion with coworkers, customers, suppliers, etc.
  • Hearing Perception - Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound.
  • Sensory Utilization - Prepare and analyze written or computer data.
  • Physical Activities - Required to stand, walk and sit, as well as using hands to pick up, handle or feel objects. May occasionally reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift 35 lbs. unassisted.
  • Visual Acuity - There are no special vision requirements.
