We are growing and currently have openings for a Postdoctoral Psychological Associate in our San Diego, Riverside and El Centro offices.

Institutes of Health is a leading transdisciplinary therapeutic community that provides high quality care to our patients who are involved in the Workers Compensation system. We currently have offices in San Diego, Riverside and El Centro. We specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Chronic Pain disorders, Brain Injuries, and Sleep problems/CBTi. Every person that works at IOH is an important part of our team. We have weekly remote team meetings that have over 45+ staff involved discussing our patients' treatment plans.

Education is very important at IOH and we have internationally know leaders in their fields involved in our Grand Rounds, Dr. Lorimer Moseley, PhD Professor of Clinical Neurosciences and Foundation Chair in Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia who has over 30 years clinical experience working with people in persistent pain, has authored hundreds of articles, multiple books and chapters and continues to present keynote lectures globally. His work is cited in clinical guidelines internationally; and our biweekly Behavioral Sleep Medicine clinic with Dr. Donn Posner PhD, Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has over 30 years of clinical, research, and teaching experience in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and is one of the authors of Cognitive Behavioral Treatment of Insomnia: A Session-by-Session Guide.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As part of our individual therapy treatment team your primary responsibilities would include psychological evaluations, administration of testing, report writing, and individual therapy treatments to address various issues including anxiety, PTSD, depression, chronic pain, sleep problems, or work stress.
• Hybrid in person and remote work schedule possible.

Required Qualifications:

• You must have a Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology in the State of California to become a Psychological Associate

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with any of the following areas: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Chronic pain, brain injuries, Workers’ Compensation, Medical/Legal, or Forensic evaluations.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience in psychological testing and evaluations
• Bilingual-Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.

Generous monthly bonus/wage adjustment program available for all full time employees. Position will also include bilingual differential pay, if applicable.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
